June 14-18th 2021 the European IHE Connectathon 2021 took place — like in the previous year, only an online testing event was possible. But as for last year, vendors and referees (the IHE “monitors”) could not resist to perform hundreds of tests in various IHE domains like Radiology (“RAD”) or IT Infrastructure (“IT-I”) using an online test setup.
Open Connections, as an independent consulting and software provider in the area of eHealth, kept the tradition to “send” a test referee pro bono (in person of Michael Onken) to the Connectathon. Michael handled tests especially from the field of IHE XDS (IHE patient records) as well as DICOM and HL7 tests from the Radiology domain.
The next European is IHE Connectathon is scheduled as a live event in Switzerland.
